Introduction

The five areas which make up your SHAPE analysis cover most of what affects your longevity. However, there's no particular magic in which area a particular item (such as smoking) might fall. Don't agonise too much over what is the "right" answer. Just choose the answer which is most like you, even if it's not a perfect fit.

Once you finish the questions you will see your results and can decide what to do next. Please note that the Analyser is specifically designed for Baby Boomers and older (ie, for people born before 1961). However, if you are under 45 just choose age 45 and your results will still be quite informative.

Surroundings includes external factors that can affect our longevity. As well as the physical environment, it includes social factors which are external to us and can affect our sense of well-being.

Parents

Parents is the term used for our genetic makeup, which comes from our parents. Knowledge of the longevity and health of close relatives can also be relevant.

Eating

Eating includes all the things we put into our bodies, not just meals.
